I like the combination of the first picture with the tailgate matching the bumper. If nothing else is going on from a SS, I would leave it like that.

For more reference:
My wife correctly noted that the pattern on my current spoiler matches the bumper plastics exactly. I'm starting to wonder if an SS spoiler would look weird with that stock bumper plastic. I know the SS Silverado has bumper plastics, but they are minimized and much smaller than this.
I've considered buying the rear bed cladding pieces and adding an SS rear bumper, but that's a lot of money...and I like my factory colormatched bumper pretty good. If I ever go that route, I'll definitely get an SS spoiler to complete the look.
