Thanks guys. Wish they made pewter wire loom.

Ben, I decided against chris' intake because the way he shaved the rear mounts off for the vortec cover, even with the front bolt the thing just kinda wobbled around lol.

just remember to much can be tacky. the black plastic items i like to keep stock. the rad support looks good color matched. if youre going to have painted parts in the bay keep it at center of eye attention. having the other **** painted takes away from the look. the fender support braces look good color matched to body. darken your frame so it disspears. good coats of armor all goes long ways on bay parts

granted only my opinion but i do get a **** load of compliments

Quik, The reason I'm going forward with painting all the plastics is because its pewter, not real noticeable. If it was red or bright blue or lime green then yeah, overkill.

My entire dash is painted pewter, and most dont even notice it. Just flows with the rest of the truck.

I plan on buying a little bit of new wire loom to clean up the loom that wont come clean, this truck was a mudder for the first 8 years of its life....Took the battery out, sanding and repainting the tray satin black, painting the frame rails satin black, painting the water pump gloss black. took all the hoses out and had lil bro scrub em in some degreaser, they will be nice again.....

Hows this for a lot of work to paint some stuff....

ive seen some of yoru work posted lately. im sure youre **** will be good looking for sure. i do agree pewter is a recessed color. i noticed with white it sucks for anything painted. One reason why i chose to paint the fast blue this time. i had it white and stuck out horrrible. Pewter will sit well. I had polished the ac lines as ben mentioned. i did it with steel wool which came out well. i also had to wet sand the dryer since mine had insulation on it to start. I didnt want mirror finishes but enough to show some bling.

some bling and pewter will go well together
