yea i think polished aluminum looks a lot less bling bling than chrome. i use this stuff called green magic. you cant buy it at any store.the only place i have seen it is at car shows.

The stuff I use now is called Coopers, I had to get it at the Peterbilt store a few miles away. I used to use mothers. And clearcoated or zooped rims just don't have the same look to me as raw hand polished aluminum, I can even tell the diff between machine/air and hand polished.
Didn't even know they offered the Timeless 6 in chrome, they had just come out and were only available in billet when I got mine.

You guys need to use Eagle One Billet polish. It's not even on their website yet. I picked some up at the Houston Autorama. I have contacted them for info to pass along. But that stuff rocks. Makes mag polish look like plato. It cut the time for doing my wheels by 2/3's . Works on EVERYTHING billet or chrome and comes in one of those wax squirt bottles.

try some X-treme metal polish. 1-800-543-5553 never seen anything that holds a candle to it, although it will, like all polishes, leave your hands black. you can also get it at discount tire.
