Water Spots....
Anyone know of a good way to get rid of hard water spots? I've tried everything I know of; I clay barred it and buffed it and I've still got them. Granted, the paint does look a lot better after the clay bar but there are still spots on the hood and on top of the front fenders. My truck is black btw, so it shows up pretty good up close. Any advice is appreciated.

I use 3M Perfect-it III rubbing compund (part # 05933) on the bad scratches, really hard water spots (the ones you can feel when you lightly drag your finger nail across it) and swirls...but if you have jus minor swirls and water spots use the hand glaze...the part # is 39007...you will really like the way hand glaze makes that black paint look wet all the time...matter of fact I will be doing my sis-in-law black 04 Lexus IS300 next weekend...she jus bought it and it has fine swirl and scratches...just be sure to put a good coat of wax or two to seal it...I forgot to answer your ?...it is like a polish...
