Umm, no. 4k is yellowish white, 6k is near pure white with a hint of blue, 8k is blue, 10k is really blue, and it just gets more blue up to around 20k which is purpleish.

I agree, his list was wrong. Somehow 6k is pretty damn blue and 12k is the bluest but yet 8k was only a little bit blue? No.

Ive never heard of putting HIDs in the reverse lights. My tailights are tinted pretty dark, I wonder if HIDs would show more light than normal bulbs.

4,300k to 5,000k is the closest to white youll get. The 8000k kits do look good though. I sell a ton of them. The only problem with having HIDs in your reverse lights is that they take a min to warm up. By the time they are all warmed up youll be down the road.

FYI, if the fogs are plastic lenses be careful the bulbs don't melt the lens or any little plastic piece inside.

I had HID's in my 02 fogs(stock) and they melted. I have Z71 valance now with rounds and I'm thinking about going a diff route.

I already have 6k low, and 8k hi. All four will light at once. Anything more for me, I just think it's over kill. I wouldn't want an oncoming driver to loose site of the road, at least not around here.

Damn, those are really bright reverse lights!

What bulbs did you put in them? Like 9005,9006 etc. Mine are 3157, I dont think I could get any to work.
