what do you all think of these wheels on my truck?

I agree with him a 305/45/22 is a big tire. Are you trying to get as wide of a tire as possible? I personally plan to run 255/45/20s and 305/35/20s on my truck with a 4/6 drop. Those are basically 29" tall tires. I know for a fact that 31.6" tires will fit in the back with a 7" drop(I've done it). However, those were on stock rims which have perfect backspacing for tucking. To put it simply, anything with less than optimal backspacing may rub and these could fall into that category with a 30mm offset and a 9" wide rim on a 305 width tire.
Just run a 285/40/22 in the back or something like that. It seems like you're wanting to run a big tire, but big tires on low truck lead to lots of rubbing issues without cutting, bending, hammering at ****.
