Question what drop am i on?

The tires are 27" tall so dont let the finder gap judge to much. The rear has a leaf spring missing, its not a flip kit and i think there are 2" drop hangers. Would that be a 3 or 4" drop in the rear? The front had stock control arms, and a stock shackle from what i can see. Would that maybe be a cut front spring? It looks like a 3/4 drop to me. But i have no real idea. My main goal is to obtain a 5/7 or so, i ordered some factory GM 22" chrome 8 spoke wheels so im going to want to go lower.

Here is a recent picture with the 16s and the 27" tall tires.

And here is a picture from when i bought the truck with 20s and the tire measure 31" tall. Maybe thats an easier way to guess the drop.
here is this picture too.

Looks to be about a 3/4 to me.. If you say a leaf is missing I am assuming you mean the over load, which it would be more like 3/4.5..

BTW your chit is on the way

Good deal John

Yea, it must be a 3/4ish drop. Whats the best route for me to go 5/7 not really knowing the actual drop here? Just assume im 3/4 and add 2" drop spindle or control arm for the front? Then add the largest drop hanger they make for the rear? Or put a 1" drop hanger in stock leaf springs and filp. Just seems like so much work for something so simple.

I am only about 2.5 or so inches away from my frame.. If you go any lower, you will need to do a flip kit.. other wise your going to beat the **** out of the rear/frame.. I am about the same as your truck..

DO you mean i need a notch rather then a flip kit???? is that what you ment to say? I have a notch in the rear....

I should just throw the rear flip kit in with what i have and see where i end up. My truck isnt a daily driver so i can mess around with it. Maybe throw some control arms in the front see where she lands.

Yah my bad.. You wont have to flip it, you could do leafs, shacks and hangers if ya wanted, but a flip is easier and cheaper IMO.. Yes you will need to C notch it, if you want to go lower
