here's my .02, you can listen if you want, its up to you, just throwing it out there, but keep your drop as simple as you possible can. that way when you want to change is up you dont have to change a million things, for ex: go up or down a hole in a shackle, change out coil springs by the inch, etc. Even if you don't think having a bunch of different components on your truck is gonna be a headache, it will.

with that being said, IMO i would go flip kit and 1" shackle and notch in the back, and 4" lower control arms and 1" coils in the front. and of course shocks all the way around. simple and easy. i think your gonna want to raise it back up though, everyone who drops their truck that low eventually brings it back up unless its down in the rgv....almost everyone here would love to be sitting at 5/7, but its just not practical for driving it around on the street whatsoever, even on the weekends

When you track it?

^ Dragstrip

If you go 5/7 you will have to be very careful with it, and it would only be practical if all your roads are nice and flat without bumps AND you drove it on the weekends and for shows.

5/7 isnt the mosst practical thing for the track either. yeah theres a lot of people who do it but it doesnt give your truck much room to squat when you launch....

With my 25" tall tires, the actual truck height will stay the same once i get my new wheel and tire setup, being that the tire height will be around 29 tall. My front valence is 3" off the ground right now.
