One time a guy on here talked a bout a polish called "Gords". I went ahead and ordered the stuff. All I can say is it is the easiest polish I've ever used. It is a liquid. Goes on easy and comes off easier. Check them out. Just do a search for Gords Aluminum Chrome Polish. My BC Smoothies look like chrome and even after washing didnt dull out like some other polishes have. Definitely worth looking into.

i don't use anything to seal it, nor do I know of anything to seal it. i just polish mine about every 3-4 weeks depending on how dirty they get over time. Glad to see you liked the polish! i Love it!
