Default wheels and tires for the denali

Help me pick the right combo...Things I do know is I am not touching the suspension as I like the stock height. I have two tire/wheel choices. 275/65/18 which are 32.1" and 275/55/20 which are 31.9. My stock 265/65/17 are 31.7 and I want to stay as close to to size w/o goin smaller.

Its going on this

I'm torn on whether to go with a agressive look or more of a street look

Here are my tires choices
These three are just different angles on a denali

Here are my rim choices

I am torn because I just spent all this money to make it fast.. and it doesn't have the stance to back it up... yet these heavy 20's (aside from the centerlines) will slow me back down again.

I'd go with the centerline rapids IMO.

Go with Toyo Proxies S/T if you can find them. They look incredible and are the best tires I've ever used. I'd also be preferential to 18s instead of 20s. Better performance.

The catch is the tires for 18's and 20's because of the size I want are practically identical. The wheel weight does vary by about 5-8 lbs a piece from 18"-20"

I have 285/60/18. They are 31." tall. That will keep you right at stock basically.

Those toyo proxies S/T look great. Any idea what the difference between the s/t and the s/t II are?

The wheel weight doesn't seam like much between the size for 18''s and 20's

And with the centerline stingray III i think the rim is only 2 lbs lighter

Kumho STX 285/60/18 46 lbs (dunno why its more than the 20)
Kumho STX 275/55/20 44 lbs

Toyo Proxies S/T II 285/60/18 40lbs
Toyo Proxies S/T II 275/55/20 43 lbs
Toyo Proxies S/T 275/50/20 41 lbs

Cooper LTZ 275/55/20 52lbs !!!!!!!

so thats 2 lbs per rim and 1 lb per tire so 3 lbs per wheel.

Thats a total of 12 lbs for all four wheels

Then multiply by 4 (what I heard to do to convert rotating weight) and thats 48 lbs

This then translate into about .05 sec in the 1/4 if you go by the 100lb/.1sec rule.

I'm not sure what my denali wheels with the 265/75/17 weight, but i'm goin to guess low 60's

Take the 20x8.5 stingray III and add in the 275/55/20 proxies and you get 65 lbs... which is close to stock, and much less than the 78 lbs of stock 20's and tires
