I think they're powdercoated. You can get all colors. From a candy apple red like that, to something close to chrome. Even orange-peel/wrinkle finish.

I wasn't aware that Z06 rims fit on ours trucks, they're 5 on 4.75". Do they make a 6 lug or something?

edit: These must be for your TA, huh?
i think OCC powdercoated some chrome wheels on a bike and they looked like the exact same finish you see in the picture. Anodizing could have been done also. As for the spacing, they make adapters for 5 lug wheels for our trucks.

I just saw translucent powdercoating on wheels at a show this weekend...very popular amongst the bike crowd.

Get the Z06's, translucent powdercoat the centers, and then polish the lip.

Look chrome plated or polished - with a transparent red powder coat
Any good powder coater can do
Dont think it is anodized - too reflective - and doesnt have the depth.

What about these. This is what i want my wheels to look like. Black Chrome baby! They look like a tinted clearcoat. WHat do you think translucent powdercoated? or tinted clearcoat.

Black chrome is, was at least, a process they put over chrome to "tint" it to give it that black chrome look. Its been around a Looong time as I used to race bikes for Mongoose and my bike was black chrome. Only bad part is the black chrome would scratch, wear or polish off and look like crap after a while. I hope no days they can powder coat over the chrome for durability.
