I got curious so I went out the the shed with the scales. 82lbs each wheel and tire. Now I wonder how much the new wheels/tires weigh... I'll bet I saved over 100lbs with the switch.

And 100lbs of UNSPRUNG WEIGHT is signifigant. Each pound of unsprung weight is equal to 4lbs of sprung weight. So taking 100lbs of wheels and rubber off will be like removing 400 lbs off the total weight of your truck. That's roughly .4 seconds in the 1/4 mile.

Well, I never ran the SS wheels at the track anyway. But I can deff tell a difference on the street!
