just went from stock 17's to 22's, yeah the ride isn't that great but they look good. probably go back to the 17s once i burn the tires off. even with 265's up front they catch the grooves in the road and pull way worse than the 17's

My 24s weighed 13 lbs less than the stock ltz 20s. EACH WHEEL.
Thats a total of 52 lbs total.
Im stupid. I rather 24s. AND they're lighter than the lead weights GM made and EVERYONE loves for a wheel.

I couldn't stand 20's on any nnbs except for one wheel (texas edition 5 spoke). Now that I sold my stock chrome clad 20's. I put on a set of ck 375 22" and wow does it make a huge difference in looks. The ride is the same, the performace by the sotp, is also the same. This truck isn't my DD, so it will never see any towing or hauling. Just to add" My stock 20s with tires weighed 80#. The 22's weighed in at 85. So a little heavier.

I told him I'd give $150 he said hell no $200, I probably going to just get them today, their worth it.
Anyways I can sell my 22's easy on Craigslist to a "BROTHER" lol

I love how ya'll are calling people who like bigger rims than you stupid. It really shows who the less intelligent person is. True larger rims affect performance due to weight, but it's the simple fact like anything else, it's personal choice. Just because the vehicle isn't set up how you would do your own does not make the person who owns it stupid or anything of the sort. It's their truck and their likes and dislikes. I love how 16x10 Ion's look just as well as I love how 24's tucking on a dropped truck looks. If everyone was after perfomance strictly, we would all swap our setup's to run 15's, but this site just like any other has people with different tastes in their own setup.
I've had 15's, 16's, 17's, 20's, and 22's on the different trucks I've owned. Of course more sidewall will give a better ride so the 15's and 16's rode smoother on the average road. Currently my rims on my Sierra are 20's with a 275/40/20 tire. I myself like how they ride. And for the performance part when I go to the track I have my stock 16's with 27x10.50-16 MT ET streets and 27 inch tall tire on the fronts. I change out both front and rear to stocks when I go to the track so I can get the "performance" from my truck and not the added weight of the 20's. Which I'm about to get 22's because one of my current 20's won't balance out and is causing a vibration.
My point in this rant is , just because you yourself do not like larger rims doesn't make those who do any less intelligent than you or a "brother". Different person, different taste. Simple as that.
