Window Tint - This normal?

It gets hotter than the waiting room of Hades down here in the summer, and my wife's 4-door Charcoal Gray Honda Accord stays pretty cool thanks to that 3M ceramic tint. Worth every penny.
It's also nice because the heat-rejection ability seems to be good regardless of the tint level.

Show the guy at the Tint shop this thread. This forum unlike many others actually has professionals who work in the industry and aren't just kids talking out their *** to get their post count up.
If he won't warranty his crappy work than take your business somewhere else and unless you really want to go after your money, just chalk it up as a lesson learned.

You might also want to report the shop to the Better Business Bureau. I've seen some good results from doing that. A threat or two by the Better Business Bureau will usually get something done.

Thanks for all the input guys,
Going to call and ask to speak to the owner of the shop, see what he suggests. This shop had a great reputation, Of course I'm the unlucky one lol
I'm pretty **** when it comes to my stuff, so I wasn't sure if it was me being to picky, but I've had other vehicles done elsewhere and don't notice these things, and from what you guys are saying I shouldnt be.

What tint shop in Mass. is this? I've had many tint jobs done at Tint King up in Billerica and they do an excellent job. If you didn't get it done there, I would recommend going to them. Unless you're way out west.

Its funny how small of a world this is! Tint King is one of our customers. They use our films and I send out orders to them all the time. Hope you liked the film!!

maybe there was a shitload of bubbles and they poked them with a needle to release the air? are they little tiny holes? or is the tint raise from dust behind it.
I dont do window tint, but I have dealt with similar film like graffiti film, and it will magnify every spec of dust, it has to be meticulously prepped. a half *** job wont cut it.

Hello all,
Just looking for some opinions on this. On my two previous trucks I had the front two windows tinted to legal limit at one shop, they did a great job, never a complaint. My only problem is they will ONLY do legal limit, so when I got my new sierra I decided I wanted to go darker, so I tried a new shop....
So I go to this highly recommended shop and they sell me on this newer "ceramic" tint to keep the heat down, which it has done. Initially they did the tint and after it had dried, I found about 25 pin head dots on each window, appeared to be contamination. I took the truck back to them and the guy told me it was from dirt in my weatherseal getting sucked in This truck is brand new, my older trucks never had this issue.
After much talking he said "well it's borderline, I've never had a perfect tint job, but we'll re-do the drivers side" Well his helper cuts out the wrong side initially so they end up doing both again. After 4 days of drying I still have pin head spots!! A cluster of 10 in the upper corner of one window alone. The other window has a 1inch long line, what I'd call a crease. I'm pissed..
Am I being unrealistic in the fact there should only be a handful of pin head dots on the tint? This sound normal? Suggestions? Bad enough they were more expensive than everyone else.
Thanks
