No dude it completely cleans the surface. Absolutely no water spots left. I hit it with rain x after I did the glass scrub so I could keep them off, that way the water just rolls off

Didn't read this thread but 0000 steel wool is best thong for Your glass. Nothing will leave a cleaner glass

bar keepers friend or a claybar when doing the paints works well too.... Looks like I might need to try this. My winders are uglee

If i can get some free time I'll do one of my front windows today and get a better pic with my good camera. This stuff requires elbow grease but damn does it work

the company that makes the glass scrub also makes a product compareable to rain x, it works really well, im kinda **** about my windows so i use the both lol.

x2 on Barkeepers Friend or Bon Ami works too. Under a couple of bucks. Grocery store next to Comet or Ajax. I ordered some gm window cleaner compound once, paid about $10., read the label, said it was Bon Ami.
