Dont waste your time going to this shop if you live in the Roanoke, VA area. We took a car to have it fixed where someone sideswiped the door and its become such a pain my ***. They were supposed to have it done in about 3 days and now its been 8 days and i still dont have the car back. Also they gave me a quote for a certain amount then all of the sudden they added $80 to the price!?! This place supposidly turns out pretty good looking work but the hassle is not worth it! Stay away from this place...

I live in Covington and the only ones I will let touch my truck are the guys at Certified Collision in Salem. Nobody around here in my area does really good work. Around here we have the "bondo people". We have several body shops in my area but I cant recommend any of them.

It's tough to find a good body shop for sure. One thing I've found with most of them, even the ones that do good work, is that the car is never done within the time frame that was given. Always add AT LEAST 2 days for any repair that's more than just a simple crease in a fender. Often the price will go up as they find "hidden" damage. When it's an insurance job, the body shop will then ask for a supplemental check from the insurance company for the additional repairs. Bottom line, it comes down to the quality of the work. If the job is done right the first time, you're ahead of the game.
8 days on a 3 day repair is excessive if you ask me. 6 days I would call "standard" lol.

well the extra money was just due to the bitch that did the estimate messing up. they had no excuse for the extra time spent. we picked the car up and they had somehow scratched up my brand new mirror, and theres a heavy clear coat line on both ends of the door and on each fender next to the door jams. its rediculous! now i gotta take it back AGAIN to have them fix thier own F-ups!
