How durable is this stuff? When I think of vinyl I think of a decal which can tear pretty easily if something catches it like a pebble or a rouge tree branch.

Can you comment on cost?
Is this something an amateur could do?
Special tools?
Any surface prep before applying?

I didn't do the job personally.

With that begin said, I build all my own trucks, and I am very experienced with paint correction. I spend alot of time behind a rotary machine working with paint. With that being said, The intricate design of the handles, rib roofing, folds in the hood, would be far to much for a first timer to handle. Especially if your looking for a paint like quality job. Ive seen alot of "professional" wraps that look like ****, cant imagine a DIY. There was a nice subaru on a forum Im on done by a DIY, but he took ALLL winter to do it, and said he had about 150 hours into it lol

Cost was 3500 plus tax
