im definitely looking in2 a project like this altho just not sure if it would be worth it being that my truck is my daily and not going to be sitting in the garage the whole year and just comes out for shows.

Looks like just the lower section of the fender was graphed to the 03 front and the door was reworked where the fender and door meet by the mirror. Its really not all that hard to do a front swap like that. Brackets can be made, supports can be trimmed and tweaked if needed, the main and hardest part is graphing hoods/fenders but any good body Guy could do it and its a good idea to buy spare parts and not use the ones from the truck (that way it can still be driven and just incase lol). Then after you measure, make all the parts/brackets etc it'll bolt right up like its stock.
My friend is in the process of doing a 07 front end on a 85 SCSB Chevy with a 6.0

I think it looks great.
From the article:
With parts in hand, Eli went to work building a custom wiper cowl to accommodate the larger hood, sectioned the '97 and '03 fenders making them one seamless piece and brought the Silverado SS bumper up closer to eliminate the factory gap. Eli also went ahead and shaved the door handles, third brake light, wipers, and mirrors. A straight '94 bed was tracked down and the not-so-straight '97 bed was scrapped. With a good bed ready, Eli shaved the taillights, added a roll pan, and welded the tailgate shut. A subtle but sick detail is the lower body line wrapping around the entire bed and tailgate and the grafting of '03 Chevy fender flares onto the bed sides.
