Do it man! I did my mirros (paint was coming off) and grill just for the hell of it and I like how it turned out. I have thread around here somewhere that shows how they look. Im going to do my chrome bumpers as well just to help protect them during the winter.

Ill get some more pictures today. Finished my other three wheels lastnight and just need to take all the tape off now that they are done drying.

Alex, I hope the whole truck idea is just a joke John showed in his thread that trying to spray large body areas like the hood doesn't work very well, as things start to become a little more uneven and noticeable.

But I just painted the chrome part of the bumper and I will be redoing it, the rear bumper and the chrome in the grill soon, so thats definitely something you could do and would look sick... I was very happy when I stepped back away from the bumper and the chrome was gone

How many cans did it take to do your bumpers? I have one thats pretty much full and another thats about half full but the friggin top keeps clogging or something and likes to drip all over the place.

I just did the chrome part on the front bumper... you could do two average coats on it with one can fairly easily... I did a medium coat and then a light coat over that after it got a little dry and I still have 1/4 can left or so...

The front bumper should be a simple task to knock out

Plasti dip company is making some good money over the last couple months. Forums all over the web are using the stuff.

Ive thought of doing the chrome on the front bumper, but then the entire front of my truck would be black and the rest pewter, I dont think it would look very good.
