question guys, knock sensors, any input on deleting them or keeping them in the valley cover. I'm not wanting to move them to the side of the block. Any advice from you guys that have deleted them all together?

Delete them. They are useless in big power stuff anyway. Hell a set of longtube headers can set them off, not to mention an aggressive cam. The world has been blazing a trail tuning motors long before knock sensors where even a though. As long as you know how to tune, it will not be an issue.

Thanks Blown, that's what I've been reading. Saves money on new knock sensors. I'm not going to be tuning it. Wanted to take it to Ryan Cunningham out here in Socal but he only has a 2wd dyno. Most likely going to get with Atomic for his HP tuners package with a email tune to get the motor running and broke in.

Any advice on fuel injectors. Brand, connection style, low or high impedance, well ****, on the whole fuel system I'm open to advice or options.

The plan is HP tuners, E85, speed density, starting with base at 50psi, 160lb injectors, dual wally 450's in basket (if thats enough pump), -10 feed split to -8 rails and -8 return, or could I get away using the stock feed line as a return?

How are you all deleting the connectors in the harness that you don't use? Cut the connector off and cover each wire? Also with HP tuners, are you able to disable them so there is no power going to them? I'm removing knock, purge solenoid, coolant level and the not in-use one in the passenger side fire wall. I don't have HP tuners yet. Thanks in advance.

You'd have to remove the pin at the computer to stop the circuit from getting power.

HP Tuners can't remove power from a circuit but you can just disable the codes that go along with the sensors you are removing. You'll set each error code to "no error reported" in the master DTC list.

Tore down the np149 and sent the input shaft to Time2Kill for the 80e respline treatment. Ordering new bearings, seals, case saver, chain and filter for it as well.

Didn't know my new block had the 99-00 "long-crank. Found that JW out of Florida makes a nice flat flexplate for it and it's on it's way.
