Default Swapped mufflers

I swapped mufflers and went with the borla xr1 sportsmans, dont have any drone now. Its a bit louder but has a really deep growl to it. So far im liking it. Still used all the speed engineering piping too.

How much louder are the borla mufflers? I really don't want the truck to be louder but if I can remove drone then I'd be alright with it. I've also thought about going with a 22inch magnaflow 5x11 dual in and out.

From what we have heard our kits work on the SUV's as well. They just need an additional hanger welded.

Thanks

by the way, the axle dump kit for the crew cab short bed fit my 2000 ext cab long bed. I just had to add hangers. It clears the frame and supports just fine with the exhaust dumping about 2 feet before the rear axle. I love the tone and it sounds nasty with my stalled 408.

Any test fitting on lifted trucks? Curious if you’ve had any issues with the drive shaft

Suspension lifts are fine. Any larger lifts that move the front diff down will defiantly bring the front driveshaft closer to the Y-Pipe.

Thanks

Any fitment issues with the tailpipes and the rear housing on a nbs rcsb 4/6 drop. Very little room between the bed and the axle. The tailpipes on my Gibson catback system wouldn't work. Had to have a muffler shop bend some tailpipes and as you know non mandrel bent pipes have a lot of restriction.
