Nitrous on top of Whipple?
#12
This is great info. I think I may be on to something...have my cake and eat it too. Atomic, I may ask you to spec and/or sell me some stuff when I'm ready. Any other thoughts are welcome from anyone that has been there already. Don't really want to blow it up (that'll be a different project) just up the ante.

Does anyone make a spacer plate with spray bars for a 2.3L Whipple? I have searched and only found one for an LSA blower. Atomic, it looks like you fabbed the spray bars into the Whipple manifold? I have Whipple's kit on order now.

after looking at that pic again, it might not've been Ray's, but i do remember him talking about adapting his plates for NO2 & meth... though he never ended up making a meth version.

Ok I'm starting to seriously consider this now after running the bang for buck #'s. Been looking at online kits and Nitrous Outlet may be the ticket it appears. I'm going to call them before I pull the trigger but had some additional things to consider. Worried about low side fueling however I am flex fuel so it may do ok? I guess high side is ok since the plate will add the additional fuel. I am thinking a 150 shot if possible with a window switch set at probably 4k? I really don't want to have to do meth at all but I could see E85 but then I'd have to do LT4 high side as well. Do I need something to pull timing since it will only be for occasional use? Don't want to lower timing for everyday use. Also am I going to have any issues with exhaust heat with stock exhaust system? Don't want to fry valves or anything else from excessive heat. Not really ready to have to do a 6.2 yet. So are headers and duals maybe gonna be needed such as Speed Engineering's setup? Only 1k for the whole exhaust! Your thoughts Gentlemen?
