Unhappy 03 SSS Electric Fan Install Problem

Got the flex-a-lites, a nelson wiring harness. Installed everything exactly as said, tuned with HPTuners to get the fans to come on and everything.

Now the problem, I got everything else worked out but this. One fan comes on when the AC comes on, runs fine with no problems at all. Now I have the fans come on at 160, once they come on the relay starts clicking on and off really fast and wont stop, the fans are on but they are also pulsating with the relay coming on and off. I have NO idea why its doing this and need help. I went back, double checked EVERYTHING and even switched the relays but NOTHING. It wont stop!!

Please help!!

tell us more about your flex light fan install. When I was tuning the truck yesterday with Brian from RPM I noticed that the fan variables were temperature set and % of total capacity set. Can you give a list of parts used and some install tid bits? I will write up an article on it and credit you on my site.

nope, totally wrong. the SSS has an identical computer. The Flex-a-Lite kit however, is what is allowing the percent differences, that's all in the VSC and has nothing to do with the actual tune.

Nope ,your totally wrong.

2003 Gm did not have CAN bus in 2003.

I found this info on Gm own website.

You are correct, however all the way to 2006 the truck pcms are the same, almost.....some have different operation systems.....but they are still Delphi.

The trucks will be can bus in 07.
