The #1 reason I wouldnt buy one if I was in the market would be the wheels. I know that there are plenty of people that would buy them though and I could upgrade. It is a cool truck. There are alot of people out there that want to have a muscle truck with all the work already done and thats exactly who the Joe Gibbs trucks are marketed to. Me persoanlly I would like to do my own the way I wanted with no other out there exactly like it and could probably save some $ doing so also! They are still cool rides! There are a couple driving around here!

I saw a RCSB a couple of months ago for $33K. I dont think it had the supercharger though, although it might have 'cuz it had several thousand off sticker. It was an automatic too. The dealer is an "authorized Joe Gibbs dealer" so some of them were just LS Silverado's with the Gibbs wheels on them. Personally I like the monochromatic look, especially with those wheels, which you can get directly from Joe Gibbs Performance, but you gotta buy the Goodyear tires too, which I don't like.

Im not saying that they are going to sell for that much, Im just quoting the sticker price....BTW they are all still on the lots....this dealer and many around here are notorious for marking up prices.

Personally I feel if you stand back and look at what you get, they are pretty fair priced.

I just looked at the joegibbs website and it says

"Optional Dealer Installed Equipment:
(For Reg. Cab, 4.8L, 5-spd. Manual Only)

• Gibbs/Magnuson Designed Intercooled Supercharger Eaton Gen V "Hybrid Roots" System, 395 horsepower / 425 lb. ft. torque

5999"

Is that correct? The one we saw at the dealership were all Auto 5.3's....the tahoe, excab and single cab, all were rated at that performance number too, is the 5.3 and 4.8 putting the same numbers out from joe gibbs or am i going crazy.

You guy's dealers must be marking them way the hell up.

According to their site
http://www.joegibbsperformance.com/faqs.html#silvprice
What is the price of a Joe Gibbs Performance Silverado Premium?
First, start with the base price of the Silverado as it comes from Chevrolet. We offer the JGP Premium and Sport packages in three different configurations. The first model is a regular cab with a 5-speed manual transmission and 4.8L V8 (approx. $24,000). The second model is the regular cab with a 4-speed automatic transmission and the 5.3L V8 (approx. $27,600). The third model is an extended cab with 4-speed automatic transmission and the 5.3L V8 (approx. $30,600). Using the approximate values for each model above add the cost of the Joe Gibbs Performance package and desired options. The two combined will give you an estimated total cost of your JGP Silverado.

See example below!

Joe Gibbs Performance Silverado Premium Package: $6900 (add $275 for manual trucks)

Example:
Regular Cab Manual (from GM): $24,000*
Joe Gibbs Performance Premium Package: $6,900
Upgrade charge required on Manual truck: $250
Optional Supercharger/Intercooler system: $5,500
Estimated Total: $36,650
*Chassis price does not include any applicable GM manufacturer rebates, discounts and/or offers.
