When i build my 6.0 thats what i'm going to due. they do flow better than the ones we got. Even on GM's web site it says that is a good upgrade for our motors

I just wrapped up a L92 Head swap with Truck intake on a N/A 6.0L TBSS.

Walked away with 100 more RWHP then stock
Just over 1 second gained in the 1/4 mile
Just shy of 10mph gain in the 1/4 mile
And 1 more MPG on the highway

All and all it was just great, even with a tiny baby cam. (Idles like stock)

Anyone that does the swap will love it.

Were the heads completely stock? Any more info on the swap?

The owner is in the medical field and this truck is his daily driver, so everything stayed on the very conservative side. No crazy dyno queen here.....

L92 Heads (Mildly ported)
L92 Intake (Stock, reused stock TB)
HOB Spec Cam (pretty mild much like a C6 Z06)
Full Comp Valve train
1 bolt to 3 bolt cam conversion
Kooks Long tubes, with cats still (oh so quiet, total sleeper)
Tuned here in house with EFI Live (It was a E67 Computer truck)

I kept the timing very conservative due to it being a daily driver and it gets very hot here in Kansas (well over a 100 in summer) with just sticking her in drive on the dyno and letting her rip she walked away with 5 back to back runs all netted between a 90-100 awhp gain. (AWD Mustang Dyno)

I wish it was a 2wd truck, even with the low timing it would have been over These AWD trucks are power hungry. Power numbers were just a couple digits shy of 400 awhp. Once it warms up here I will lean on the timing a bit more, and see what she makes then, until keep her safe, and keep her happy.

Nothing really fancy to talk about... just a lot of GM parts
Erik

Not a problem at all.

Forgot to mention that even with the baby cam it was still pulling strong all the way to 6400rpm where I stopped the pull. If someone wanted to rev them higher it would make even more. The truck intake, like many have said is a very good intake and doesn't limit the flow at all.

It does however swell and bow between vacuum and matting the throttle. I mean a LOT! I question how much boost they will hold before one splits at the seams, but time will tell.
