mike06tork get out of this thread damnt! Thats exactly the look I'm going for but I lack the skills you have to make such a hood. The hood I mentioned earlier is the closest I can get to the effect of that hood.

They make a hood for 99-02 silverados that is I believe a 2" cowl with a functional flipper door-like the 70 Chevelle SS. Its pretty cool IMO

Now that is bad ***! I wish they made that for my 04. I wouldnt think twice about ordering it.

Anyone seen this hood? Might be a little gaudy but its hard to tell. I'd like to find a functional hood to lower my underhood temps.

There's a member on here that has that hood...white GMC 2500 I think. Looks good on lifted and beefy trucks but don't think it works too well with lowered ones. JMO

If you have the right stance, wheel/tire combo, I think you may be able to pull that hood off
