yea I think a 6500 rpm limit would be fine for me. I may even just build the 4.8 to be a screamer, then when I get tired of that swap a 6.0 into it.
Sorry for all the questions, but with me not even having the truck yet I'm kinda indecisive as to the route I want to go, and I would like to have that figured out for when I do get the truck.

I wasn't going to swap an lq4 into my truck I want an lq9. I know the differences are marginal, but I still want it anyway.
If I can rev out that high I may get the 235/249 .573/.558 109 LSA cam and spray it like I was going to do to the 4.8.
lq9, 243 heads, above cam, spray, t-56, 4.88s, and all the other bullshit boltons....thats what its going to be.
Thanks for the input fellas

I am not towing with this vehicle, that's why I said occasionally
I have heard mixed reviews on these cams. I hear they need a very good tuner in order to utilize them.
I want a choppy cam though for sure, a 110 LSA or so would be good, but it has to perform well also
