There is a dyno vid of an RST I believe a 4.8/5spd on youtube putting down like 220whp stock. 300hp would be at the flywheel.
Wait for a tune until after you do everything you want to it. No sense in paying for two tunes...

I don't think 300whp should be too hard to get to on an N/A 4.8...longtubes will help alot, a nice cam will help, and a good tune will help a bunch. if you come up short you could mill the heads a little bit or something

I am in Florida, so I have no input for you lol.
17's seem like they'd be too small, and 18's may work, but I'm not sure. Someone in another thread on here mentioned what they ran for a winter setup
