Winter is a bit away but I'd look to have a set of wheels by November at least. 18's. Might as well get a cheap set of 20's. I just dont want to F' up the Foose wheels.

17's should work because it's not a matter of brake system it's just the rotor size...they're huge...18's will definately fit so if anything just aim for 18's

About the actual rwhp/tq...a month after I had mine, I went to a semi-local dyno day (first time ever on a dyno...glad I didnt break anything lol) and iirc made 260ish rwhp/270ish rwtq on a mustang dyno

edit: also iirc there are 2 versions of the Gen 3 4.8's (according to wikipedia). One is rated at like 295 and the other 315.

Me tooo, I'm ready to take pics....sick of waiting on this thing. I've got the replacement spoiler coming along with a set of 04 tails. Trying to get a company to quote me with a price that isn't freakin robbery for the spoiler decals.

Found a company that will do them for $125 installed. Trying to get a company to do them cheaper while I'm home in Ohio.

Yeah I saw the wiki thing. I think that the numbers you put down are very good if it was stock RST package. Did you have it tuned? Wonder how much difference it would make with a good tune.

Nah, that was the stock RST package...I'm getting a mail order tune early next week, and will probably dyno it again toward the end of this month. From what I've read a tune really shines on the automatics, but I'm anxious to see what kind of gains I get.
Congrats on your purchase btw.

Thanks man. Let me know how it goes. I had a W4me tune on my 00 silverado 4.8 auto and it made a hell of a difference. I wonder myself about the difference with the 5 speed.

Who is doing your tune? I'm close enough to Blackbear that when I'm ready I'll just drive down. Want to get all the looks stuff finished first
