Nice truck. Just about everybody with an RST has had problems with pitting wheels. The pads that came on these trucks are to blame. If you havent already, switch to a ceramic pad to stop the problem.

I did that swap earlier this year, and I got mine at advance auto parts you will have to get the heavy duty 1500 series pads to get the right ones for the calibers

Autozone? So just tell them i need pads for a 05, 1500? I figured they were bigger calipers.

stock calipers bigger rotors...just the OEM ceramic pads for your truck *it's technically not OEM but whatever pads your truck would require...except in ceramic rather than semi-metallic*

You will need the 1500 HD pads and I think I paid somewere around 40-50 for mine.
