As far as the rims go, in the right off set yes they would fit, I have KMC's on my truck and they fit great, as far as that rim, its their XD line up, its more of a 4x4 rim, might look funny on some street tires IMHO. And as far as the shifter goes, it does tighten things up and shorten the throw some, but I am used to short shifters like in mustangs and camaros where its more like a flick instead of a throw.....

well weekend before last i went out to the track and had a little fun. the damn truck kept fighting me, the rep mode kept setting and then i managed to find a setting in the hpt beta to fix that. then the tune wanted to act up cuz my iat's were over 106* everytime i ran cuz with the problems i didnt have time to cool down so i was hot lapping it. then on my last run i get past the line and turn back to get my ticket and here this tick....tick.....tick. and im like WTF? get home and after a couple days i get to pull it apart and find this...

wow...you should be quicker than a 14.2 no? noone around you can dyno tune? IMO it's a little bit of a drive for you but it might be worth it to drive to the next test and tune that Black Bear has i think they're doing another on in Jersey? **correct me if i'm wrong**

yeah, jersey is a hike for me. and the truck should be doing alot more than what it is. i can already feel a difference in the 4.88 gears, by a good amount. my iat's that day didnt get under 109* even going down the track. can you say heat soak?

i need to get a set of dr's and smaller wheels to run at the track. cuz running on the 20's is hurtin me bad i know. ill have to get ahold of some 17" steelies to run, cuz with the brakes i cant run anything smaller and clear the brakes.

i plan on testing it again when it quits raining every other day round here and see what i can get as she sits right now.
