hey guys I have sat back and read and read all of the info from you guys over this crazy 119 page thread and finally i might as well sign in or at least sign in with you guys. I've been on LS1tech for awhile. I have a 94 Z28 and an 04 GMC RST. Now i have also read alot about LS1 swaps and how easy they are but I know if i need the right info, I might as well get it from yall!

So... My question is, how hard is it to do the LS1 swap into our trucks and what all is needed in order to do so? And i do mean everything needed! Thanks in advance PM me if you like.

it should be a fairly simple swap. the only thing to change is the oil pan since the trucks use a different pan. i've been looking into doing it myself.

The bolt design on the ls1 motor is the same as the motor in your truck. You might need some sensor extension pieces. If you want to talk to someone that did the swap pm a member by the name of regency.
