I used the standard 1500 pads on mine. And I had to go back to the stock set up, couldn't afford the aftermarket rotor right now. I had to buy new caliper brackets and hardware kits. And suprisingly the stock setup doesn't seem like a down grade on stopping, so I'm happy with that for now.

yeah the eradispeed rotors aren't exactly great stopping rotors but it is very nice on pad wear...without a doubt...i just remember someone had posted somethin up about you have to use 1500 HD pads idk idr i haven't checked the rear pads i know i'm def doin the front...and i'm not even gonna bother tryin to get the rotors resurfaced they're still smooth as a babies bottom...n2m i hear its bad for D&S rotors to cut 'em

Hello RST'ers.
I'm new to the forums, not really new to my RST or especially Chevy trucks.
I had a 2006 White w/orange stripes Jon Moss signed RST last summer, had it for about 2 weeks before it was stolen and never recovered. This January I finally found another RST for sale that wasn't an automatic. It's a 2004, picked up from the original owner.
This guy removed the stripes and decals, and when he had the tailgate shaved, he snapped the wing into 3 pieces so he trashed it. So right now it's an RST without stripes, decals, or a wing, but within the next week I'm trading tailgates with a girl I work with who owns a 2006 non-RST but has a true RST wing molded into her tailgate.
I'm not sure why anybody would spend the extra money on a RST only to de-badge it and make it look more like an everyday Silverado than it does an RST. Though the interior, exhaust sound, and performance still scream RST.
Here's a picture of the way it looks now:
Edit - I have other pics in my album as well.
I've been reading through this thread for several months now, but just now decided to register. There are some awesome trucks in here and some great information.

You can get our cross drilled and sloted rotors resurfaced without a problem. You dont us a normal brake lathe. You have to bring them to a machine shop that knows whats they are doing and have them machined and blasted. I had mine done a little over a year ago and they came out better then new.
