If you put a cam in your truck you will have to change a few things. The first is going to be the push rods, you have to use stock ones for a Camaro. 2nd you will have to get it tuned. When I put in my cam I gained another 20hp just from the tune.

sorry im late to the party. lol

ok i looked into this after i bought my rst brand new in may of 04, here is the break down:
300 rst made in 04
150 chevy
75 4.8/5-speed
75 5.3/auto
half red w/black stripes
half black w/red stripes
150 gmc
75 4.8/5-speed
75 5.3/auto
half red w/black stripes
half black w/red stripes

i dont remember where i got that from, i believe it was from regency itself, but that was so long ago i cant remember. and if im wrong on any of that sorry.

Silver - i never knew they made a silver w/black stripes. not to be a deputy downer, but your truck isnt a clone by chance is it? got any pics (inside and out) we can see to see if you have all the legit **** on the truck. if it is legit you have a truck that is more rare than the jon moss rsts.

as far as being worth something, that is kinda hard to say. these are pretty much cookie cutter trucks. not really built with high quality parts, and probably too many produced over the years. these truck will appeal to the hotrod and gearheads only, so it kinda narrows down the resale market. in 20+ years i could see a low miles mint rst getting close to what you paid for it from some collector, but thats about it. and the truck would have to be a grage queen to survive that long. i have had to replace almost everything regency put on the truck.

im still working on the exhuast tryin to get the tips back in the roll pan, what a bitch. im gonna have to modify them i think. the whole truck needs a paint job and stripes too. lol.

I'm having clearance issues with the shackles and the 2 1/2" pipe. I never did like how that setup was. So I thought I would run the pipe down the inside of the frame am 90* into the tips. Plus I'm thinking about fixing the tips to the roll pan and firming up the pan all so the tips don't rub the pan. I'm probably gonna put some flex joints in just before the 90* at the tips, and up before the muffler so the torque from the engine does jack **** up.

You may not know, but my roll pan is powder coated and the tips were starting to rub the coating off. And as you know the exhaust is hung on rubber mounts so it moves. And the bed is also on rubber bushings and moves, so I'm trying control the movement. Cuz once I put paint on the roll pan I don't want any issues.

remove the rubber bushings on the exhaust where it bolts to the frame near the roll pan......i know it "could" cause those brackets to break, but i removed mine 2 years ago and my exhaust is still together
