Ok another question for you all...
Whats the difference between long tube headers and Short tube headers?
and How much difference would it be to change the short tube headers to long tube (power wise)
Also, anyone have a perticular brand they like best?

there is def a big power difference going from the rst shorties to longtubes......your top end will be alot stronger. The biggest difference is when you remove the cats when you do the longtubes. With the factory RST exhaust + pacesetters and no cats gets really loud, border line annoying over 3000rpm. I had to change mufflers after a while.

I loved the sound of mine with the pacesetters and rst exhaust... it is nasty raspy right around 2500-3000 for sure tho. Ive got some LPPs in the closet right now waiting for install, and im goin to be puttin the rst muffler back on (ive got true duals with 2 hooker aerochambers right now, which is fine but the WOT with the old rst exhaust was much nicer)
Oh, and night and day difference on the top-end with LTs...

yeah the factory cats are so restrictive that it brings the small cubes motors down. after my 6.0 swap i was still running the rst shorties and exhuast, then i changed to the pacesetter lts and ory, holy what a difference. i noticed an increase in low end torque and top end. i guess as you go bigger in cubes the shorties/cats really affect more performance.
silver05 - if you read the exhaust section, youll see everyone telling you that the ceramic coated pacesetters and ory are the best bang for the buck, i would have to agree with them. even though i plan to buy some kooks in the near future to complete my s/s exhuast system.
