Oh okay thanks man, I remeber reading somewhere about
how the break pads caused issues with pitting, does anyone one know where to get pads that will fit the front and rear calipers that won't
cause problems?

I personally don't think it has anything to do with the break pads. Those FOOSE wheels are poorly made. Almost everyone I have met that has a RST has had problems with their wheels. Unless you really like your wheels I would recommend just finding another set of wheels you like. Just my 2 cent though.

Thanks 1Quick, pads needed to be changed soon so i just wanted to see if that was true or not. Its a shame the wheels are that cheap, they really grew on me once i picked up the truck. Anyways would anyone know any part numbers or imformation about what pads are good replacements for the front and rear calipers. Again i may be way off but i thought i read something about using HD pads. Thanks again. And sorry for all the Noob questions. This is really the only good place to get information about these trucks.

on my 04 truck it took stock replacement size pads. i picked up some raybestos ceramics for a 04 silvy and they fit just fine front and rear. i think 05+ needs the HD, but im not 100% on that.

the calipers are still the factory calipers just either painted red or with the caliper covers...there was no difference beyond that at least thats whats on my 04...and the pitting is caused BOTH by semi-metallic pads & the poor quality of FOOSE chrome...ceramic pads will help prevent the pitting however
