well i got half of the new exhuast up yesterday. if i would have rushed i probably could have gotten it all done, but i didnt want to eff anything up or make it look half-assed. i hopefully will be getting into the tip modification tonight and getting that little write-up i was talking about tomorrow or sunday. i do know that i am going to have to section the tail pipes on the magnaflow exhaust to get them up behind the rollpan and then figure out what i have to do for piping into the tips.
ill post some pics alittle later today.
by the way the lpp headers and y look great, and fit nicely. the only issue i see with them at the moment is the cheap $.99 exhaust clamps they come with. i stripped one out trying to put it on. ill be getting different ones today and as soon as i can afford it im going to get some stainless band type calmps. the mangaflow catback looks really good too we will see how the bends and everything setup later.
if you guys have any questions let me know and ill try to get pics and answers for you.

Oh, and as far as the break pads go, I am not sure, the ones on the truck are still in good shape, so I am not sure if factory pads will work or not. Guess I'll have to wait and see!

I know I have asked this before, but I never got a direct answer, and now that you put up pics and talked about your exhaust I'll ask again.
Why do you guys run a Y-pipe setup instead of an X or H pipe setup with true duals?

but to better answer your question is probably due to the fact that the y-pipe doesnt hurt the performance to any serious degree, so why change it? and the y is just easier plumbing under the truck, i know. lol.

about the 05 calipers, they use the stock caliper with the cover still. they use a different mounting bracket that the stock pads wont slide into. so gotta get the ssbc pads. i checked my pads thinking hey i just bought her and shes got 60k on her now so might as well replace them. come to find out theyre 75% still so no need for new ones. i got lucky for now. guess the previous owner replaced them once
