A Z06 cam is close to those specs. I can't give you experianced advice but as big as mos people go is a 220/220 but alot of people say a 214/218 is a great cam.

Thanks red04, i took at look at your install pics. Kit looks nice, so the tails pretty much will come out where i need them and its just a matter of cutting to get the right length for the tips or you think there will be a little more to get the kit to work

235/249 .573/.558 109 LSA + 150 shot is the direction I'm going until I get something other than the 4.8

Does anybody know if these Foose(Junk) wheels will tuck or not? I am planning on a 4/6 drop or lower and don't want to buy the drop if I have to put different wheels on it. I have 275/45/20's on it now but I'm doing 275/40/20's all around before I drop it.

Holy cow, after doing a bit of searching I see a lot of people running big cams in the 4.8. Damn.

Here is my opinion.....going any bigger than a 220/220 on an NA 4.8L is going to kill your low end, which is what the 4.8 needs the most. Dont get me wrong the top end is hellafun on the tr220 but who wants to only be fast 3rd and 4th gear. Goin for a smaller cam like a 214/218 or somewhere around that wont kill your low end as much. I only have experience with the 220 so I can only give you an opinion based on what I have. Bigger is not always better (in this case).

If you really want to be daring you could try the tr224 like nytesnype. Works for him, but he is also supercharged. I sometimes wonder if I would have been happier with a slightly smaller cam so I could get off the line faster, but i'm not about to swap it out to find out.
