If memory servers me right, the one sold at barret, was red and a chevy, and was the prototype that regency created the whole line off of with chip foose laying out the original design. That was the rst that went for 60k at barret in 2004.

So dumb question yet again...

Is a 180 degree Thermostat and a 160 degree that big a difference? And which do u think would be best for a daily driver with some mods done?

If your gonna daily it in a colder climate, you should stay with the 180*. Otherwise you could end up with a frozen tb.

Nice! I have a set of spare 862's sitting in the back room...I'm hoping to send them off for 2.02/1.575 milled .030 the works late this year/early next year.
The 799's are off L92 right?

Very cool...799/243 same same right? Thats the bad thing about the 4.8...no way to get good CR from a simple head swap.
