Still have alot of parts to put on it, but on my engine setup and the 4.88's with the 6-speed i managed to do a new personal best with track conditions horrible and still spining the first 60ft... 15.28 @ 91.82 mph, anywho thats not the problem. The problem occured on the drive back home. My clutch is defintly slipping. 6th gear is TERRIBLE, you put the gas pedal down and it just revs up slowly but your not accelerating... Im thinking its got to do with the pedal because theres 0 freeplay in it and it engages/disegauges like as soon as u push the pedal down. I gotta adjust it someone how. A buddy of mine says theres a pin at the end of the clutch (i think) that u take out and screw in or out to adjust freeplay in your pedal. Thoughts?
I've never heard of anything being adjustable on a clutch itself. I'm trying to think what would cause that. I wonder if they put the aftermarket shim in behind the oem slave you finally got them to put in. If they did that, your pressure plate is never fully engaged. That would cause you to slip, but I would think it would happen in a lower gear.

Just grab the bearing and pull. You might get the whole to half if the slave first, but the bearing will come off with a little elbow grease.

Kren, nitrous and turbo/sc builds "should" be very different. You can run alot more CR on nitrous than you can on the other good luck man and have fun

Past couple of days I've been noticing an intermittent mushy clutch pedal. Tonight after stopping to pick up a 12 pack I get in the truck and the clutch goes to the floor. I checked the fluid and it was low so its obviously leaking somewhere...ran in the store grabbed some fluid and pumped the **** out of the clutch and it got me home. I haven't looked for leaks yet but does this sound like the slave or the master?
