i mean if you've got the money for gas & the upgrades go for it but either way i meant if you plan on making it a daily driver nobody has a daily driver that runs 11's u know what i mean...it's pretty illogical...n2m gas...but i was just saying you wouldn't want to put the lsx intake on there because of rpm ranges, power, & torque losses you would actually face before getting into the inside of the motor...anyway the money you'd be putting into the truck wouldn't be worth it because for the same $$ it would take to build the truck into a race truck it would be more worth your time & $$ just doing it to a camaro or t/a...but i'm a hypocrite b/c i'm throwing a 10k$ motor & tranny swap in mine...so yeah

If anyone is interested, there is a 2006 Regency Jon Moss RST currently listed on ebay. Low miles, 5 speed trans. with the 4.8 motor. The vin. number is 1387 units apart from mine. Maybe made the same day or the following day?

Is there anything I can clean my wheels with that will clean them good and not harm them anymore? They are pitted and with the road salt and all, they are terrible! They need a good hard cleaning and maybe some Mothers polish?

If your still under warranty, go to the dealership and complain. Regency has replaced a lot of wheels due to this. Have you changed the front pads on the truck yet? Those are most of the problem with the metal shavings that are hot hit the wheel. Redregency04 knows about it well. If they wont replace, grab a mothers mini powerball and some mothers mag & aluminum polish, spread it on, and spin the wheel SLOW on the drill. Dont crank on the powerball youll burn right right through the chrome...hth

dealership replaced 3 sets of wheels for me but i didnt get smart untill after the warranty was up. when i found the problem it was too late for the last set i have. so future plan is to have them acid dip and then refinish them somehow.
