My Chrome Lip, on my rims is all pitted too, thats from the brake dust???? i thought it may have been from rocks flying in there, but then thought that that was unlikely, and would have done more damage, so i was back to square one, and the pitting started happening after only about 3 months of driving, and less than 2000 miles.

yeah if you have semi-metallic pads the dust contains metal flakes that are really hot when the dust hits the chrome it embeds itself into the finsh and then you get rusting and it causes the chrome to pit. at least i think that is how it happens. but once i went to ceramic pads i didnt have anymore problems.

has anybody figuired out the brake shoes yet, are all the RST's have stock brake pads, or do i need to buy special Baer brake pads?
