Default RST question...

Well the write up thread is 194 pages long but just want to know if these trucks had the tow package? My wifes Cherokee killed the transmission so I am going to give her my Gibbs and buy myself a RST... I want a 4.8/5spd combo but also need to know that if I have to that I can tow my car trailer with it.

So im assuming depite the glorious looking rollpan that the license plate folds down and the reciever is behind it? I know it can tow, just if they came with the package I.E. hitch and wiring...

My 06 has both, the 04 wiring but no hitch. I bought both used, so the 06 original owner must have put on the hitch, the 04 owner did not.

Good info to know... Im currently stationed in Nc and wife lives in FL and leaving her my Gibbs when I find a RST I just needed to be sure that I can still tow my trailer so I will have to probally buy a hitch. But like I said in your F/S thread Geo if your trucks still available I will be looking to buy next month but just trying to get my ducks in a row.

The RSTs come with the wiring harness but not the hitch. Hidden hitch makes a hitch that hides behind the roll pan and can be accessed by folding down the license plate. Only down size is that you cannot have your spare tire underneath with the hitch installed. If I can find time to take some pictures of mine, I'll post them up.
