Default Silverado SS mods.

Hey guys. 03SS here. 102K miles. Had it a little over a year. Current mods are MSD plugs, tr55 plugs, qtp cutouts, no cats, k&n fipk, and a tune.

Future mods that I would like to include are long tubes, shift kit, Trail blazer SS TC and a cam of some sort. What cam do you reccomend? I drive this truck every day. I had considered an LS2 cam, but if I were to go to all of the trouble to do that cam, should I consider another cam? Currently the truck runs 14.69 @91 mph. I'd like to break into the 13s if possible NA.

Culd you guys please give me some direction?

Thanks!

the tc you want is from the 6 cyl tb and not the ss. e-fans on the list would be a nice addition.

Im using the tsp 228r cam myself, anything in the 220 range seems to be very good for the 6.0

Yeah, it's driveable. Still the stock stall. I've still got to get my stall, shift kit, and trans cooler yet. I'm gonna go with a TCS 2800-3000 stall. When ever I can afford one, they are not cheap! Here's another vid with the cut out open. I get alot of looks on the road, and somtimes the thumbs up. http://s96.photobucket.com/player.sw...fs=1&os=1&ap=1

If you are going to do a stall I would recommend spending the extra money up front and get a good quality converter like a Yank, TCS, etc..... and I would at least go with a 3000 stall, you won't regret it.

Ha Ha, I know you love my can Dan, I love it to! Escpecially when I'm sitting at a light and people look over at me, and either roll up their window because of the noise or they love the sound of my cam. I had an older guy the other day just over my truck, and then, two lights later, there was a mom and her 16 year old girl that just kept looking over at my truck. They were in an older 454 SS that was kind of beat up, but was waving at me to roll my window down, just to tell me that my truck was awsome and sounded like a race car. That made me feel really good, so of course I had to rev the motor alittle.
