OK, so my truck has the stock lq9. 102,000 miles. Never had the valve covers off. If I wanted to install your cam in my truck what all do I need for the swap?

^^^^ Yep, also have some good springs. I used Z06 springs on mine. With 102K on your truck, you might want to change your valve cover gaskets too. They get old and brittle, and will leak on you. Are you doing the cam swap? I got my Comp cam at Summit racing for $420 shipped.

Yeah, I'll do it myself. Lingenfelter has that cam for 350. THat crazy cat KySilverado lives about 15 miles from me so if I get confused I'm sure I can call him =) Would it be safe to do this swap at 102K miles?

yenko, I did efans with a St. Aubin's harness.. that helped me alot.. I did a post aboot it... plus a Nelson tune and a FLT Lvl3 tranny... working my way through some other plans this year.. im just behind you creepin up at 100,000 miles myself. So,... I got some plans up me sleeve..
oh yeah.. my dynatech headers, cats, and catback were a nice addition.. im hoping to hit low 14's so far..

Definately! I would go ahead and get some hardened pushrods right away and be done with it. The first week I had the cam in my truck with the stock pushrods I bent three of them and my cam is not huge.
