SSS's look Sportier but Everyone Mods an SSS or already thinks they are fast anyways.
I think the Denali would be nicer, and still a sleeper somewhat. and theres not near as many modded denali's as SSS's.
They both can achieve the same performance, so i think its more which one looks better and drives better to you. But thats me..

I was seriously looking at Sierra Denali CrewCabs before I got my Vmax. The Denali CC has an LQ9, AWD, the crappy 4L65E, but no quadrasteer. But it also has a sweet interior with a nicer console and seats than an SS. I would have gotten one, but there were none in my area that had low enough miles for me. The ultimate for me would have been a Silverado SS Crew Cab, but they never decided to make one. The ext cab just isn't roomy enough to justify it over the crew cab, IMO.

If you sell your truck and get a car you will miss having a truck, if you get a truck I vote for SSS however if your going for a "sleeper" that may not be what you want, some idiots assume they are already 12 second rides. maybe a denali would suit your wants/need's but your paying a pretty penny for the little **** you dont need, but they are a quality truck with all the options on the inside one could want. its your call, but the silvy SS is a very nice truck with a good starting point for modding and they are fairly reasonably priced now.

So do what YOU think you should do. I'm not saying that to be a dick or anything, seriously do it. One of the many fights me and my ex-wife had was me resenting her making me sell off car projects. My current female stays the hell out of my vehicle decisions and money choices and it works great.
