SS silvy makes wierd noise when shifting?

SS silvy makes wierd noise when shifting?

Hey guys got a 06 ss silvy and everytime i take off from a dead stop, open throttle when my first shift point hits the truck make this wierd *** skreaching noise... anybody else have this problem or anyone know what it could be?

Thats your fan belt. Replace it with a GoodYear Gator Back, noise will be gone.

The dreaded belt squeal.................gatorback belts will help a lot but don't eliminate them , i have them on mine
