i think we should have a section where you can see who is on..maybe in the members list? just an idea i have seen it on some other fourms too and it works pretty well....



or what about a chatroom area maybe at the top of the home page where we can all kinda talk to one another...again just a idea

if you click on the members name and go to their public profile you can see if they are online and what thread they are viewing

 

Problem is that pt.net shares user databases with ls1tech, SSU, and the mustang site, so we would see everyone who was logged on to those sites as well.

 

Back in the day we used to have that, I think it's one of the features that got chopped when we grew.

 

It is one of those features that is a resource hog and makes the site slow so it was cut in favor of speed.

 

Kind of like my spare tire, skid plates, exhaust system, and jack.
