Why not cut the post count minimum for classifieds, and have the newbie request for permission to post to classifieds. This way the Mod can go an look at the posts the newbie made, and make a judgment call on truly applicable posts the board.
Just an idea.
Just an idea.

On who's part would it be labor intensive? The seller/poster would have to make the request of the mod.
The only thing the mod would have to do is check the posts. The mod would turn the ability of removing the post from the User Cp off.
Or... when a newbie signs up, post the option to becoming a seller and create a prompt at the new account sign in... something like that.
