No problem, Lunati rotating assembly, CR is 10.2:1, Heads are L92 with L76 intake, Headers are Hooker full length 1 3/4". Turning 6800 rpms at shifts. Just weighed the turd this weekend in at 4565 with me..

thats odd. when i had the Ls3 topend[same as L92/L76] i didnt care for it to much and felt that it held me back on power.
will say i think your compression is to low, from research your header size is on the small side and not sure of your exhaust. i had a lunati 408 11.1 cr same topend with a 244/248 cam, 1 7/8 x2 with dual 3" exhaust. it felt strong but i figured it would of been stronger. also i think your gearin is on the small side.

is that the best times your ran? reason i question is my old hurt 6.0 did 88mph in the 1/8th but died off topend cause of the fuel issue. i would htink your 408 down in memphis would be low 11s.......this is nothing against ya, sorry if it does come that way but just how i take the Ls3 crap and large cubes. just doesnt seem like it works to well with big cubes

I know there is more room for improvement, but I'm very happy with its times, for what it is. Why more compression? you have to pull so much timing out. This is my 5th engine I have been playing with. When I had 11.2:1 I had to pull 6 degrees out.

the 408s ive seen run 11.1 - 11.8 with 28* of timing. now the Ls3 crap likes around 30* or so even with that much compression...Compression is your friend with large cams. i wouldnt think of buiding another NA motor again without being at 11.1 with any sort of cam.

i by no means was trying to knock you truck. just trying to get soem answers for a few questions i have. glad your happy with it
